Obviously, which is why I added in the same post: “he needs to be encouraged to be more positive and adventurous. For whatever reason he is currently underachieving.” In other words he has to make the best use of his main asset, which is his skill on the ball (I.e. like Iniesta and Xavi).
According to this web site he is not tiny but it seems to contain some errors: https://www.espn.co.uk/football/team/squad/_/id/397/eng.barnsley
I liked how Jason Mohammed described it today, on the Bbc Final score. When it said that Kane had scored a penalty for us at Reading, he said it was a case of 'Herbie (Kane) rides again' lol. I'm guessing though, that he hasn't heard any of his interviews.
I don’t blame him for wanting out, I would too. We are not a progressive football club, we’re one that self harms and spends most of its recent history in reverse. I don’t think he’s good enough to go anywhere deemed better than us, but I get it. It must be infuriating as a player to just see the squad torn to pieces every summer.
Am i missing something.?Where as Kane said he wants to leave.Since he came here all his Radio interviews have seemed a bit dour maybe its something he doesn,t like doing, his newspaper interviews are far more open. If you look at the photos on the website he's full of smiles.Could be people are looking for something thats not there.Time will tell.
He did say that his time at the club has been amazing and he's loved it and wants to win the play offs (presumably with us). He's a player that we should definitely try to keep in my opinion.
Its a shame but Kane seems to be getting a lot of flack here, and I think most of it is unfair. Whether the media side of it is more important to fans these days, I'm not sure,. But it doesn't bother me that much if he is doing bad interviews. If he is somebody who has difficulty doing them and being in the spotlight etc, then maybe its another ridiculous decision by these clueless owners.
The photo they had on the main site, I believe where he was celebrating the second goal, looked far from being someone who doesn't want be here, or to be bothered. He looked ecstatic.
