It might be genuine but this club needs to run differently. Sign players who are ******** and not so kind. We need players who just get on with the job. It's probably rare these days
For what it's worth I don't think he will be here next season, I think his nose was put out of joint by being sent on loan and watcing that shambles of a midfield when we got relegated. He was supposed to be heir apparent to Mowatt. That said, if people are upset by that tweet they need to get a grip.
I suspect it's because he reads this forum & Twitter, and sees the absolute idiocy our fans spew on a daily basis.
Kane has found his level. I’d be surprised if he got a move higher. Too slow. Not much end product. Good L1 player mind.
I agree. It’s not this tweet in particular, it’s recent interviews and comments he has made regarding his future at the club and so on. I have to say I can see why it’s annoying some of the supporters. He’s not a big enough player for us for me to lose much sleep over it, I just don’t like seeing players purposely going out to wind the fans up, even if those fans are indeed abit sensitive.
He tweeted it a minute after it was announced. He was literally sat waiting. There are texts, DMs, WhatsApp for this stuff. It's a childish dig at the club after a childish Radio Sheff interview last week. The bi-product of the dig is alienating himself from the fans who pay his snap And I'm a Herbie fan.!
I think kitching has been playing up wanting out so have a few other must be a **** dressing room to be in. Bet kitchs injuries clear up now.
Signed too late to play tomorrow, but I would be amazed if he doesn't start the first game after the international break, with his "injury" all nicely heeled in time.
I both agree with you and disagree with you. I don't actually think there's anything wrong with the Tweet taken in isolation, but I do think he's being a dick. His attitude in the interview given with Radio Sheffield was way off what should be expected. IMHO we have 4 or 5 players in midfield better than he is, so we'll see how it pans out for him.
The bigger issue here is the pile of garbage that is Twitter. Its something I'm not interested in because it can and apparently it does, cause real problems at times. Yeah maybe he could have done the congrats in private, but on this rare occasion I don't think Kane has posted anything wrong.
I don't like that he cost a lot of money, will be one of our highest earners and yet you can probably count on one hand the games he's stood out in. Complete waste of money.
The very fact he did this on X and not privately tells anyone with a brain that he's out to wind folk up. That is wrong on every level. He could have sent him a message privately. To do so on a public forum is diagraceful and disrespectful to the Club and us fans. Also, he posted that literally seconds after Coventry announced it, meaning he was waiting to do it, making it not a "spur of the moment" thing, it was pre-meditated. That is what makes it wrong, not the content.
If my mate leaves my place of work for an opportunity which is basically a promotion and includes a serious pay rise, would I be wrong to immediately congratulate him on LinkedIn?
That’s fair. Kane does seem to have an attitude problem but then again we encourage players to treat us as a stepping stone.
