Let's not forget Kane is only twenty two and you don't remain at Liverpool Football Club for seven seasons if you can't play. I truly believe that he will eventually come good and we will have to excercise patience until he is able to perform consistently well in every game that he is selected to play in. Alex Mowatt was the stand out player for us tonight and if we recall we had to send him out on loan, before he was able to establish himself as a regular starter and Club skipper. The plaudits heaped upon our side by the BBC pundits tonight, were richly deserved. You only had to look at Tuchels face to know he was very concerned as to how well we played tonight. Himself and his team will know how fortunate they were and that if Cauley had connected with his chance and put it wide of the keeper and Abraham had been unable to steer Sollys flick over the bar, Chelsea could have been out of the Cup. Looking at their line up tonight, we cannot overlook the fact that some of them are not regular starters, but their side was studded with multi million pound international footballers and on the night, we can be rightly proud as to how well our young lads acquitted themselves. We were never second best, in fact at certain points in that game, we looked to be the team currently lying sixth in the Premiership. Well done everyone in the Red of Barnsley tonight. I for one am proud of you all.
