Without doubt the subs made a difference. However we did play well in tbe first half. Herbie brought some craft into midfield. well pleased for him becauae i think he's struggled to date. He made a difference today. well done lad!
Apart from the free kick not really sure what Kane offered. I think the rest of the team stepped up in the second half. I remember Kane giving the ball away near the end. He was hardly spreading the ball about. But as a team performance he was on the pitch so gets some credit. Still need to be convinced by him.
Val said in his Radio Sheffield interview that he had spoken to Styles yesterday and told him he needs more consistency and that he was going to give him chance to breathe and to think about taking his chance when he gets it again. Definitely did that I think!
