If he signs for a Championship side it would be a bald signing for someone no better than a fringe player.
Not a suprise good player, flattered to decive at times, sometimes in his presser gave off the impression he'd be gone, no hard feelings good luck to him, we move on
I just don't think he will be missed that much. For a seven figure sum he was a waste of money. He didn't give us much up top.
Don't think he wanted to be here most of last season but 1st half of the season was probably in our top 3 players.
They loved him at Oxford, I'm sure if they go up his agent will be knocking their door down, can't imagine they pay much more than us tho, maybe they will for the year they have in Championship.
I imagine he thinks a lot of our fans are idiots after the personal abuse he’s had over his appearance & over one sulky interview he gave where he never once criticised the fans. He was clearly just frustrated with the club like many of us have been. He was also sent out on loan so we could go with a central midfield of Gomes, Palmer, Styles, Benson & Wolfe and to top it off he’s just finished below De Gevigney on a fans player of the year award. I imagine he’ll be delighted to get away from the circus that is Barnsley football club & hopefully get a move to a well run football club where the fans appreciate a good footballer.
Average player but showed some glimpses at times. His lack of pace was always his downfall and its not going to get any better for him.
I think he's played his part in getting us into the playoffs these past 2 seasons so don't understand the stick he gets.
Meh. Genuinely not ar$ed. He was ok for us, nothing more. From what I’ve seen, I fancy Connor Grant to be just as effective, with the right coach. Certainly not irreplaceable.
Yep. He isn't crap but he's not great either. We could therefore do better if looking to replace a specific role. Its whether we actually get worse just as much though
Yep we’ll see. Genuinely believe there will be L2 players as good. Obviously if we sign someone from Solihull Moors, alarm bells will start ringing. All eyes on Mladen.
