If he has that in his locker

It makes one wonder why we've not encouraged him to do it more often.

    Which begs the question

Why (if he's capable of doing what he did on Tuesday night on a regular basis)?

Ex-manager - 'stay in front of the back four at all times' ....

    ...... at a guess

That'd be my guess too, mate

Hopefully, he'll show that Tuesday night wasn't a one off.

I think we might see more good things from ....

.... quite a few of the players now, all that ****** about them being 100% behind the last manager ....... watch their body language now, that's what being 100% behind the manager and each other looks like

    I quite like the idea

That certain players, who haven't contributed a great deal in the goalscoring stakes, are being encouraged to get forward and, hopefully, be more of an attacking threat to the opposition. Playing with confidence and without fear, as it were.

Too right, I suspect this guy's approach is ........

..... first and foremost go out and do the job you've been picked to do, but have no fear of doing above and beyond that if you feel that you can do both

    In many respects

The result and performance at Watford could prove to be beneficial for us. Usually, a new manager has a honeymoon period from the off and a lot of the inherent problems are hidden for a while, creating a false dawn. Mark Robins must have had his eyes opened that day as to the extent of the mess he'd inherited with regards to the lack of self confidence, application, etc. He's now gone out to strengthen the areas he obviously felt we were lacking.

Agree, before that match he probably thought he had ...

..... a tough job ahead of him, after that match he knew he had a massive job ahead of him, with a squad/attitude/approach etc. that needed immediate attention!

I feel I have to point out to you, mate,

That by agreeing to anything I say, your street cred on here as a respected, loyal, passionate, devoted Barnsley fan and BBS poster will totally disappear!! :D

Ha ha, I think all that went when I was tarred and feathered ..

..... for running the 'nail your colours to the mast - are you backing Simon Davey' poll before the season started! :D

    Ooh, you're very bitter aren't you? ..........

....... why don't you just get behind Robins as much as you were behind Davey?
