Howard's Goal At Anfield Will Forever Live With Me

A day I will never forgot and the best day ever supporting Barnsley (not including our two most recent promotions). I nearly fell down the steps towards the gangway when he scored lol. I couldn't wait to see the highlights on MOTD.

    RE: Best moments

Winning at Southampton a great day as I live down here celebrating with Yorkshires finest plus rohan Ricketts rellys who were in our section-had a feeling we would do well from that day.
The Wembley day out Tarn crest on the pitch Toby Tyke's dancin Great pride in the Club and really enjoying everything but the result.Great to see so many Tykes fans who live far from our spiritual home and cannot get to as many games we'd like all admitting we're part timers!
Jeff Stelling /Matt Le tiss true gents Respect.

RE: For me, by a considerable distance, and one of the better moments of my life, was..

Me too. First away game I've ever took my two lads to (11 and 12). What a feeling, when Howard scored, going bonkers with them and thinking to myself that I hope to God they appreciate what they've just seen and experienced. I started watching Barnsley at 8 years old and have seen some dross in my time, especially around their age in the early seventies. In their little bit of being fans they've seen us get promoted, beat the former European Champions and beat the richest club in the world, both full of superstars. The only superstars I ever saw was the telly programme with Kevin Keegan et al!!! Young 'uns - don't know they're born!
