Suspect it is posturing from Keith. Making it totally clear that they are taking the piss and that they are nowhere near our valuation, so the Tribunal doesn't attach too much credibility to their "bid", which has clearly been made at that level to set a marker down for the Tribunal.
You're spot on in your assessment but somewhere in between will be heavily in Norwich's favour I'm willing to bet. My guess is they've offered 250k with slight add ons and we've asked for 2 million plus add ons. Reckon we'll get 500k plus add ons totalling 750k max. In other words we'll get shafted yet again.
I can see why you are being pessimistic mate but I think we will get £500k to £750k plus add ons of up to £2m based on first team appearances and international call up plus a sell on fee. I think it will be contingent because of the uncertainty of injury. Would have preferred the cash up front, but thats BFCs fault for a lack of foresight.
but if that's the case surely they can't argue with the fact they have offered a 'risk' a 4 year deal?
