    Didn't they have big George Riley as their number 9, and he helped them win that comeback 2-3 game. I think Bobby Collins even showed an interest in him, a few seasons later.
    But as it turned out, Tony Cunningham eventually became that 'target man' up front (after Ian Moores totally flopped on loan). :eek:

    I seem to remember the tale. But the best has to be the club coach. Rocking up at Crystal palace. Or most of the way there. We were at QPR. Tuther side of the Thames would have given it away for me lol. Apparently the driver wouldnt listen to some on the coach.

    "Yes tha fekkin well are"

    2 hrs later, and just afore half time. The poor buggers strolled into the ground.
