Re: Don Rowing... And was it actually advertised before the Wednesday game if so where because today is the first I have seen it - not a big deal for me as I have an ST but I try to keep some attention to what the club is doing. This particular offer is only of any value to anyone who wants to be able to point to the fact that when a game was reduced to £10 then less than 100 people took it so the pricing has nothing to do with attendences. Sort of scheme Sir Humprey Appleby would have been proud of
Re: Don Rowing... It was in small print on the website somewhere. I was aware of it but even at the time it was an utterly ridiculous, overcomplicated 'discount'. Wasn't even advertised in the programmes which still advertise both games (yes it was also available on boxing day too) at £28. Some bloke rang radio sheffield before the wednesday game and said they'd heard the match was a tenner (wednesday that is), as far as I'm aware the club never bothered to correct him. Even radio sheffield didn't have a clue about the offer.
Re: Don Rowing... Not only is it a confusing 'promotion' but it's a crap one too. I might not know much about the details of football administration but I guarantee that I could do a far better job at managing the marketing acitivity at BFC than the Don. I just don't see what he contributes.
Because we won't get a full house, the club just loses more money. I think at the moment, we wouldn't get a full house if it was free to get in People aren't interested, it's got very little to do with the price.
they must have to have special training to come up with ******** like this, far too complicated , isolates anybody who might have popped down on the spur of the moment or live away. And why does it matter if you ha bee before? we need every availalable body (money!!)through the turnstiles proof of address/support should be enough if they need it for segregation purposes.
I remember when it wa £20 for a match ticket if bought in advance, £23 on day. I think that's reasonable.
