As you say, Helik's injury may have put the brakes on a move for him temporarily, but I'd expected Styles to have gone by now, considering Khaled rather publicly confirmed Styles wants to leave. Then again we allegedly had no offers for them last summer when their stock was much higher. There might come a point (maybe once the window is closed) where both just have to knuckle down and get on with it. It won't help Helik's ambitions of playing at the world cup, but they'll be an asset to us in league 1, and come January/next summer, they'll have had the opportunity to raise there stock again.

    I still believe both will move this summer mind.

    Pretty sure Helik will move but don't think we'll get much more than £1m seeing as Poland looks his likely destination.
    Honestly think clubs might wait until January to pick Styles up for next to nothing.

    If Styles doesn't get his move I hope he has the same impact Brad Potts did in 2018/19.

    We don't know that bids haven't come in for Helik. All we know is that we haven't accepted one yet.

    In the same way we rejected bids for Morris before it leaked that he was on the move. And with Blackburn admitting they've been tracking Brittain for 12 months, I'd be surprised if the deal was agreed on the first bid.

    This is where Peterborough do excel as they get everyone in a spin about all these bids they've rejected and the made up transfer fees they've received.

    That’s my worry. I don’t think Morris or Brittain is what the club wanted to do, but what choice do they have. Some clubs are going to try and hold us to ransoms over Styles or Helik or both and bid below our estimate in the final days of the window and if anyone bids for other players between now and then we may have to sell.

    True. Should’ve said acceptable bids. Either way, I reckon the club were probably expecting him and Styles to have been sold by now.
