Honestly thought the club would have said something today

You can have your opinion. I'll stick to mine. I'll be interested to see how much time you spend looking at other clubs in general. Bigger and smaller. Just spent last 40 minutes reading about Ivan Gazidis The CEO or Arsenal and what he thought the club did in the transfer window. Listened to a press thing with the very impressive Sheff U manager and just starting to look at whats happening at Northampton.

I found I Gazidis very interesting.

 

Not according to either Barkley or your chum Barton. Both of them called him out. My Everton supporting best mate says nobody there now has a clue what is going on and who's telling porkies.

Our dignified silence on Yids speaks volumes and gives the best chance of him being integrated back into the fold for a while.

Hardly any. I read about BFC and that's about it. Work and life don't allow me the luxury of spending every waking hour checking out other clubs media.

We have a more impressive manager and that's all that I care about.

Brilliant bit of research. I think our media team are one of the best in this league and put a lot of Premier clubs to shame.

 

I can answer that very easily. Zero. Zilch. Bugger all. I've no interest. You'll never be happy with our club. I know you're entitled to your opinion, and I've got to accept that, but you don't half make it difficult.

For years you never said anything, when our media output really was poor. Then, when the club made massive improvements to it and appointed a specialist to handle it, you started moaning. You criticise everything the club does well. You criticise the best manager in your lifetime, the best players in recent history, club legends and backroom staff. You get banned numerous times for it, then you come back and after a few days it starts again.

A few days ago you and I had a pleasant debate about the U23 game v Millwall. I thought you'd learned a lesson. Sadly it seems not.

 

Do me a favour and compare us to clubs with similar fanbase (and therefore money) as us and give me some facts and figures regarding them instead of Everton, arsenal and man utd. Consider it a challenge. Or you known you could acknowledge my post showing our output compared to Sheffield United's

 

Not sure that I never mentioned anything Prior to BArnsley haveing full match highlights I put a long list of things I thought wasn't right. I got a message from someone saying that they understood my thoughts and we looking to follow Sheffield united (the team I mentioned) in full match highlights.

You may or may not have moaned before, I really don't have time to do the research, but if you did it was infrequent and I never noticed it. But don't you notice that hardly anyone agrees with you on this? You're in a tiny minority, probaby of one. Most of the rest of us think the media output is superb, best it's ever been. As Whitey says it can be improved even further, everything can be improved in life. Well, almost everything........

 

1. Yet again you compare our media output to a top Premier League team's in Everton. That's almost like expecting the burger van on Ponty Road to embark on a McDonalds style global multi-platform marketing campaign such is the difference in resources.

2. It's international week after deadline day. It's likely staff have had an extended break after a hectic period of late nights. Have a little patience and you'll get answers to the Yiadom question in the pre-match output Thursday.

3. You seem to find plenty of time to sample other clubs' media output, so maybe keep doing that and be content with being able to have an insight into other clubs. If you're after a round the clock 'Barnsley TV' service, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed.

4. For what it's worth, I think the club's media output is far better than it's ever been and embarrasses that of clubs in our league with a whole load of dollar more. In fact, ours is award-winning. You give your opinion, so there is mine on the matter.

5. You may well have heard from Everton's owner, but ours has a lot to contend with at the moment and is well within his rights to shun the public eye.

 

Really enjoyed the Sheff Utd video. Really interesting to see how deadline day works. However I have to say I was so thankful we don't operate like that. Scrambling around for targets, hoping something comes off, relying on a mobile conversation trying to sell the club to players. We identified our targets, got em in. Job done. Well done Barnsley FC

I mentioned this in the actual video thread, it seemed they were trying to get players in just for the sake of it and the manager not knowing the first thing about the players.
