Colin Swift was a full-back in the late 50s/early 60s. He was part of the Short, Sharp and Swift trio of our defence.
Yeah. Before my time. I started going i the mid sixties. I think my Dad knew Colin Swift and Gordon Pallister in some capacity but there can't be many of us on here now that remember those names.
Gordon Pallister was before my time, but I know he was a very accomplished full-back. After he finished playing, he opened a very small "temperance bar" in Regent Street South. I remember going there as a little lad with my mum to have a glass of ginger beer etc.
