Seriously? I can believe lots of things but I can't believe that anyone would have left that child if they heard them.

A female special constable was with him. It was in the gymnasium that was being used as a mortuary. He'd been given up for dead. The lad opened his eyes and said "mum". The special constable tried CPR but was told by a senior officer to leave him, he'd gone. This was around 4 o'clock.

    His name is Kevin Williams.

That is shocking, it really is. If I had been the special constable I would have told the senior officer where to stick his instruction. Failure after failure.

I don't know. There was a documentary on ITV earlier this week which included an interview with the special constable.

It's Kevin's mum's campaigning that has helped keep moving the whole thing forward. She has lots of evidence from many eye witnesses that her son was alive long after 3:15 cut off point that was used in the inquest. She found photos of the lads that were carrying him on a stretcher, she managed to track them down and they all said he was still alive.

The big question isn't what happened with the special constable. It's why the lad was in a mortuary and not in an ambulance on the way to hospital.

That is the question but he was there and he could have been saved.

The link I posted below gives a hint.

Just a horrible situation. Not proud to say that for long enough I thought 'typical scousers' given what was put out by the media etc. Impossible to praise highly enough people like Kevin's Mum - the sheer injustice of everything would have just overwhelmed lesser folk.

At the very least there should (and will imho) be a fresh coroner's inquest.

On a slightly different tack, if they were happy to bend evidence on something that was so obviously going to be such high profile it makes you wonder what they did to get the run of the mill stuff cleared up

Events in the miners' strike being a prime example.

I can't read to the end of that document, it's too heartbreaking.

Such a waste of life, cannot but think what if it had been my son. I would have wanted to break heads for that.

Who didn't allow the 10+ ambulances that were outside into the stadium. Was it the police of SWFC?
