You're right about Mansfield fans beeing a little on the 'unfriendly' side. My missus also thinks I'm mad for travelling all that way to watch a team I'm not a genuine supporter of. But look at the other teams I could've chose and tell me if I'm making the right decision; Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield Utd, Doncaster Rovers, Rotherham Utd???
Yes, of course you're making the right decision! One about to be relegated, two with delusions of grandeur, one playing in a stadium that puts a bomb-hit building site to shame. Choice? What choice?
You will know its the right choice when you've seen a few games.
I've tried watching a few games other than barnsley, I can enjoy the game, but you don't get that same feeling inside. That pressure, tension and passion. When you get that feeling, you will know.

I've already had the feeling. I've been to a few Barnsley games in the past, the last being against Sunderland and although it wasn't the best performance it did feel right. Do you have an estimate on the price of a season ticket for next year? I quite fancy West Stand Upper or Pontefract Road.
Ponty was £275 this year. After a season of poor football, rambling chairman and apathy all round, if its more than £285 they are in big trouble.
Thats really cheap I would say and is more or less in line with Mansfield prices, two division lower!
