"The Club condemns rape and violence of any kind against women in the strongest possible terms"

So much so that they let a convicted rapist use their facilities, contemplated signing him and might well do in the future when the uproar dies down or he somehow clears his name.

Sheff Utd, for me, have never been a real threat or "hate" club. During my time of watching BFC, they have operated at a level that has, on average, been below that of BFC. And to be fair, you have to admire the Bassett and Warnock eras.

Then you look at their current status. Not just football, but how they position themseves as a club, a so-called professional football club and serving a local big city community.

    Embarassing.

They try to blame Carlos Tevez as the reason they got relegated from the Premirership. In fact they try to puruse a Legal route to get this over-ruled. What they failed to realise is that, over a season, they did not get enough points and were in the bottom 3, so got relegated. Get over it. BFC had enough to deal with, during our Premiership tenure, but we accepted defeats and subsequent relegation,

The Chris Morgan / Iain Hume event was seen, in full, by the footballing community and the wider general public. Absolutely everybody I spoke to, at the time, could not believe (a) what Chris Morgan did and (b) how he managed to get away with it. Sheff Utd did nothing. They had after match TV evidence, to quickly realise they had a player and situation that was dragging the game and their Club into disrepute. They had a chance to do something about it. They had this in their control. They did nothing. They never admitted any wrong-doing. They never even apologised.

In life, we all should learn from mistakes.

Not in the world of Sheff Utd.

The Ched Evans jury conviction of rape was never something that Sheff Utd could influence, and, they were put in a very uncomfortable and unique position. But again, much like previous events, they had the power and control to do something about this. To do the right thing. To close the chapter. To show the footballing community and wider general public that they have morales that need to be upheld.

They never took this opportunity to do the right thing. In fact, if any educational faculty needs an example of "how not to handle a situation" then this would be perfect.

They are wrong on Ched Evans (even after their recent u-turn). They were wrong on Chris Morgan. They were wrong on Carlos Tevez.

Being tolerant, in my opinion, is a good trait. We could and should allow anyone who makes a mistake, to learn from it and progress.

But look at what Sheff Utd have done. Three examples and opportunities to do the right thing. They have took these opportunities and done EXACTLY THE WRONG THING.

This is why I hate Sheff Utd. Morally they are the scum of the earth. In football terms, I hate Sheff Weds, always have done, always will do.

But Sheff Utd........they in a different league. A league on their own.
