At short notice too, as most places will want a good month warning for annual leave.

This is why I'll be surprised if we shift 450.

I’d expect us to sell out probably before general sale

Everywhere I've worked has wanted 2 days for every day you want off. So a week would be fine for 2 days. Although you only really need 2 1/2 days - leave at lunchtime, travel down, sleep in, go in at lunchtime the next day.

TBF, If I was going I'd book a local hotel. Work on the train going down, wake up nice and refreshed, and work on the train back. So no holidays needed. If I was feeling generous, I'd even stop off at the London office on the way...

There was no luxury of "working from home/away from the workplace" 30-40 years ago though mate.....You were either in the office, or you weren't lol :D

I first starting do oncall work in 2000, which was 23 years ago - so its approaching that sort of time now. And even then, the bigwigs would only frequent the office 2-3 days per week...

I’m not planning on taking any time off work. Then again it’s one of the few times living in Farnham helps me to watch an evening game.
Farnham to Horsham is approx 30 miles and takes around 50 mins by car
    Or 2.5 hours by train

Wonder how easy parking will be thinking of trying the P&R and then getting the bus back into town for pre match drink . Hopefully should be able to get there around 5:30
