Rotherham finish bottom half of the table & Evans sacked before Xmas

Phillips to have a good start, be the divisions leading goalscorer by the end of August then sold on deadline day.

No, no. I agree that a top half finish for Barnsley in League 1 should not be a success or deemed acceptable really.

I just think the reality of situation we're in. This is a stacked League 1 compared to last season, I think the squad is weaker than last season, however I do believe Clarke is a big upgrade on Collins.

I think anywhere between 5th-14th is possible in honesty, there's a lot of teams I'd struggle to really separate in that mid to upper mid table bunch.

My opinion on this could change if we bring in a top quality striker(s)

Our top scorer this season isn't currently a player in our squad.

One of Wrexham, Huddersfield, Rotherham and Birmingham will be in a relegation battle.

Not sure I have any hot takes to be honest. Maybe Cosgrove getting 20+ goals this season?

As for the division, Peterborough will struggle and not get in the top 10. Not sure that’s entirely controversial but will do.
