If I was the gaffer, or if we had a decent manager he'd be playing in the hole behind the striker Shooting on sight
5 or 6 probably. Cant remember exactly, they've all been as bad as each other really. Oh, and Chesterfield. Which was also $hite
Dunno mate, loads probably. I've still not seen him have a good game though. Hope he comes good. We ******* need it, that’s for sure
Credit to him being a man and going over to listen to the fans and what they had to say, rather than rushing off the pitch and openly avoiding what was happening before his eyes.
From that photo he looked calm and had his hands on his hips. Now if it had been Brek Shea esque i'd have agreed
He'd be more of a man in my eyes if he made a tackle now and again. Oh and if he got rid of that f###kin Alice band he's taken to wearing. Alice bands, pony tails....wtf??? Never saw Alan Little on one
I'm fine with that. Actually, I think it's a good thing. I'm pleased to hear a player will go to speak to a fan. Hourihane was ***** today, there's no getting away from that. He wasn't alone, or the worst offender. In plenty of other games this season he's been very good. I don't have a problem with a player who is prepared to talk to someone in the crowd. Particularly after a game when he must know himself he didn't put in one of his better performances. Up and at 'em Connor lad, put that passion back in to your game.
His got to play behind the front man for me that'll be his best position let him have that free role, his not the type of player to be in the middle in a 442 and he carnt play in this daft 433 that we keep trying, which clearly is ****. Am not doubting he has great talent but people are probably questioning his attitude to work hard for the team and from what I've seen he doesn't do enough on the defence side of his game. Wilson has to get tactics and selection right in his next 2 games or he'll be gone I reckon.
He's been terrible for the past fortnight but the problem is there's been no one else who's delivered. If Trotta, Cole, Berry etc were playing well then we'd barely notice, as it is Hourihane's performances look twice as bad
Someone said last night , that they thought it ended amicably... looks like the players face says different
It did. The fan did most of the talking, but it didn't look aggressive, and they seemed to part on good terms, with Conor giving the fans a clap as he walked off and the fans reciprocating. It was far from the scenes at Huddersfield last season. I'm not sure that the players and the fans speaking straight after a game like that, when emotions are running high, is necessarily the best move, but on this occasion there doesn't appear to have been a problem.
Okeydoke G O... I bow to your first hand knowledge.. and may I add good, Wouldn't want any rift between one of our best players and fans.
