    Not before time for our best player this century who should have got back to back player of the year awards. Hope he gets game time now for them and consolodates his place in the team.

    and by training with the International squad it can only improve him... add to that the boost to his confidence in being selected. I hope he also travels with them and takes in the atmosphere too, that also will build him. If he does not make the final cut then that could in a strange way benefit us, & WHY ......Well he could come back to the 'Well and be encouraged to up the pace in order to claim a place in the Irish team... and that can only benefit us... and I believe that the backroom boys of Hecky & Co coupled with the fans feelings right now can and only will improve him.... it's bloody great right now being a Barnsley fan.

    Well done Conor. Hopefully this may help persuade him to stay too as it was hinted that he may have felt he needed a move to be noticed but he's been called up whilst with us so it's not affected his chances.
