Who asked for them back? It is quite bizarre that youre saying mellis and dawson though as thry are opposites and mellis is actually a similar kind of player to hourianne with all the same criticisms aimed at him
We went so long without having a goalscoring midfielder. Now we have one and still it's not good enough. The runners and battlers we played before neither scored nor created & we had a multitude of complaints about this. I've got to assume the creative goalscoring midfielders who tackle like Alan Little, run around like Billy Ronson are commonplace and we must be the only club who hasn't got at least three on the books.
We should sign Akinfenwa in midfield. Better "all round" and would cover the pitch much better. boom boom.
What's suddenly happened to your spelling? You've always talked gibberish, old mate, but at least it was spelt correctly! You'll have JamDrop after you, mark my words!
Posting on my phone and I keep hitting the wrong keys without noticing it. I think im going to have to go back to using the laptop
So because Hourihane has weaknesses in his game he can't be in team of the year? If he was the complete midfielder he wouldn't be in the League 1 team of the year he would be in the Championship/Premiership team of the year.
In fairness to this team, it includes the best two players I've seen at Oakwell this year; the lad at Swindon and the lad at Mk Dons. Both quick, technical and combative. Think I'd be able to play alright alongside them
There were plenty on here and around me at Oakwell who didn't think that Butterfield was good enough either. That was despite him banging goals in and creating chance after chance every week. Now Hourihane hasn't got near Butterfield's level in that last half season with us at this time, but I really rate him and I would say that he's looked the best midfielder that we've had since. I would agree that he's looked like he's been suffering from a bit of a lack of confidence recently, and as that sh1thouse Keith Hill would say, "...confidence is key". I reckon Hourihane will have a great run in the 2nd half of the season if played centrally (not stuck out on the left, if Berry plays, then that's where he should be) alongside a decent experienced midfielder and will end up with 20 goals. I've also been told by a kid who has been right on a couple of things recently that Ravel Morrison is signing for us. I know the rumor has been out there for a while and it could well be rubbish, but I thought I would share.
