    My major problem with him has always been that we have to sacrifice either a striker or oir wingers to fit him into the side because he was incapable of playing in a 2 man midfield. I'm starting to see signs that he possibly could play alongside Scowen which would free up Smith or another striker to come in which would suit our best player, Winnall. Thats if LJ dare.

    We wouldn't have to sacrifice one of those if we weren't also sacrificing one to make up for the scowen/Pearson combination

    If the fans don't like it being given back then they shouldn't dish it out. Nowt up with a bit of passion being shown. In our top three players today with Pearson and Watkins for me. Another goal he's been involved in too. If people think he's rubbish then they will see how much we miss him when he's sold to balance the books in two months time.

    Scowen/Pearson could quite easily play as a 2 man midfield though. Either Scowen could push on or they could sit back and let 2 wingers and 2 strikers cause the problems. It's time to try a 2 man midfield regardless of who partners Scowen.
