I’d hate to see the state of their other businesses- safe to say they would be sacked in the first episode of Dragons Den - there not very good are they
Or we could ask nicely in the spirit of brother/sisterhood:- Fans Of Nancy on Twitter: "Now more than 500 participants and €115,000, congratulations to all! ⚪️" / Twitter
T'owd Chien's turned up to Nancy's match with Niort this evening with his better half. (Lost 2-0 at home btw to be 10 points off safety with 5 games left - sounds familiar - but they play at the team just above the relegation zone on Tuesday and so if they lose that they are mathematically down I think). Wonder if they're nipping over to t'Well to see us go down on Monday too? Welcome @NewCityChienLee Le propriétaire de l'#ASNL, monsieur Chien Lee, assistera à #ASNLCNFC avec son épouse.
The main reason I hope he's at Oakwell on Monday is to read what @SuperTyke says when he does a Conman of refusing to meet fans even though he's in the area to take in one of our games.
But there is a plan. We pay them to run our club. Thats it. Or more precisely, we pay them to run our club down.
AS Nancy lost 2-nowt at home and didn't have a shot on target until the 93rd minute. Hope Chien was entertained.
Buying businesses without real investment or proper long term strategy and hiding behind the ffp rules as an excuse for not spending any money is going to get you far. I mean what business in the world can you make money without spending it to start with?
I hope that, at the appropriate point should it occur, we have supporters groups willing to step up to the mark. I joined the Supporters Trust yesterday.
In all seriousness @Gally have our ST made contact with the supporters group at Nancy? Might be we can learn a few things, or team up? Indeed you could extend that to all of the club's infected by the PMG/NCC parasites.
There's a bloke called Killian that someone from the Facebook group or Tykes TV was in contact with.aS Nancy protests started after the Conway out group and has got a lot further. I think the initial meeting at the Garrison instead of being a summary of what our owners had or hadn't done would have been better to gauge opinion and see who was prepared to do what and how in terms of protest. But protest requires time, commitment and an element of funding and if the appetite for support isn't there yet it becomes a case of banging your head against a brick wall Even something like the decision not to renew because of the ownership, if all those who weren't gathered together and had their photo and reasons in the Barnsley Chronicle for eg. it would make more impact rather than just not doing it.
