    That would be an odd one, having signed Thomas and Cotter. Unless he can play anywhere in the back 3 as well, or we're not confident of keeping hold of Williams.

    Wiki and Transfermarkt have him down as a Right back or Centre back so possibly a long term replacement for that RCB slot.

    We have also loaned out Moon so extra cover wouldn't hurt.

    Hamer played as left centre back when Burton came to Oakwell.

    He's number 37 in the highlights, the one with the long throw but also the missed interception where he jumps over the ball then falls over, the one who gets totally beaten by Wolfe for the first goal and the one who stands and watches Cole put away the second goal before pathetically putting his arm up for offside.

    I presume that if we have made a bid that we've seen more positive displays in his wider body of work albeit in the worst defence in League 1! Then again this is a Nixon rumour so take with the usual salt mine.

    Trouble is, we have Thomas and Williams that can play there. Cotter can play RWB. It's players for the middle and left of the back 3 that we need cover for.

    Exile says in his earlier reply that hamer played on the left of the Burton back 3 against us recently so seems he can play anywhere across the back.
