So...You're sat in front of a PC, thinking, "I wonder where I can dump a load of paint and varnish?" Do you.

    a) Use the world's most powerful internet search engine? or

    b) Log on to BBS and ask the world's foremost experts on Don Rowing and counter terrorism?

    No brainer...

When you're trying to be clever, at least read the opening message of the thread.

"Tried the council website but it doesn't mention anything."

Pah. Call yourself Yorkshiremen. Left over varnish and paint? I've seen me dad walk away from a wall that looks like Stevie Wonder's painted it rather than crack open a new tin.

Aye the norm for us is to keep it in the garage that long that it goes hard. Then you can chuck it in the bin wi'art anyone noticing.

I use the contents to start my garden waste fires. The tins are then crushed and into the bin ... or stick the lot on a fire and collect the burnt tins ...once again. into the bin Make certain that no-one has any washing out.
