I support the club week in week out, that's probably the reason I've had any optimism well and truly kicked out of me.
I sort of know what the OP was getting at how can you care about any players in the modern game as if they are any good they sod off after 5 minutes.
Davies? Surely he falls into the 'bag-o-*****' category seeing as he'd never played a game until he joined us. And didn't you call him a dee dar tw@t too.
And if they're ***** we're stuck with them, and by time they've Fu'cked off and we can replace them, our good players have jumped ship because their working with *****.
I've got heart of gold pal do owt for anyone, go out of my way regularly to help others, and I'm straight John Bull, women love it
No not all clubs just **** ones that'll never amount to anything like ours, if we signed Williams from Fulham JOS From Blackburn Waring from Stoke, Kelly from Oldham, and four or five others and one or two on loan we'd have a fantastic squad a genuine title contender in my opinion, but before transfer window closes we'll sell Hourihane Winnall and Scowen Bristol Wolves Southampton Wednesday AFCB Doncaster MK Dons and other clubs will have been in the same situation in recent times and refused to sell and built a squad that's got us promoted but you just know with how we've operated as a club in recent times we're not going to do that we're going to sell and suffer as we always do, and for that reason I just couldn't get my hopes up no matter who we sign
We can't spend loads of money because we dont have loads of money and also ffp needs taking into account.
Not saying spend loads of money, I'm saying if we've budgeted for Hourihane for 3 years then keep him 3 years don't go cashing in at the first opportunity, take a risk now and again make him see out his contract he might get us promoted, if he'd turned out ***** we wouldn't have got anything for him anyway, just take a risk on these players it's the only way we'll ever amount to anything worthwhile watching and paying to see we need to build a club not rip it apart every 12 months it's the only way to succeed
So how can people find optimism and hope in any of our new signing ?, we all know what you've just said is 100% true, so if we sign a player like Tom Bradshaw every one on here will see it as a fantastic signing which it is if you intend to build a team round him and challenge at the top of the league but we don't we intend to improve him and sell him for a profit, how can you get excited about that ?
