I don't like the Arctic Monkeys so they're rubbish and I don't care what either of Vital Tyke's listeners think.

RE: While ever you're using words like "good" and "best", you do. Yeah, you shouldn't really use the word good as that inivtes people to discuss their personal preferences, ain't that right *Windy?
Go on then. which words should I use instead of Good? Good, depending how it is used, can be used to describe talent as much as personal taste
RE: While ever you're using words like "good" and "best", you do.
We've moved on a bit. Do try to keep up.

What is the scale for talent though? Most people I've ever met can't actually hold a tune or a guitar, so in my eyes people that can have a degree of talent. It's critics that have the least talent in this kind of discussion.
I can play guitar, does that make me able to judge this blokey's talent?
For what it's worth I think he's pretty good at what he does, but like others have said, many do it as well, if not better, and I don't particularly like his style of music

The new wave, synth pop, new romantic group from Bedfordshire, 'big' in the 80's? Had a single called 'too shy'? Reached the top 5?
Is it obvious I wikipedia'd them? (if that's even a term)

RE: While ever you're using words like "good" and "best", you do.
Ithink he'll manage without your approval.

RE: Agreed. Yeah, you said that. I'll concede that Newton Faulkner's vast artistic achievements cannot be comprehended by mere mortals and vow never to discuss music ever again. For my penance I will attend as many acoustic open-mic nights as I can so I can fully appreciate how awesome Newton is. As an aside, was he on X Factor or equivalent?
You're only allowed to comment if you can play d minor, above your head, with your teeth. In tight leather pantoloons.
