Mmm, could there be another reason you're livid? Like 50 of them!

I agree though, he was shocking as usual. From the Ponty there was nothing wrong with Foster's goal, so I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

He is a joke. Said it on here and to my dad before the game. The man is predictably *****.

    Completely agree with all that

But it doesn't change the fact that Trevor Kettle is useless. And a bell end to boot.

Was anyone else a little confused when he gave a drop ball in the centre circle after Davies had been pushed off the ball.

And then he dropped the ball directly on the Ipswich player's foot. There you go, you have it.

The drop ball was to do with their player who'd fallen/dropped to floor with ball underneath him. Even though Davis had managed to get to the ball free and was just about to break with it.
You could argue that their player was fouling by preventing the ball from being played and Davies fouled when getting the ball free. 50/50.

I don't think he has it in for Barnsley, he's just an appalling, self-indulgent ref. The sign of a good ref is that you don't notice they're there. His approach appears to be 'look at me, i'm Trevor Kettle and i'm the referee'.
