    RE: It's easy.

So you expect us to play like Barcelona every week Gaz?

Even Barcelona dont play well every week, nor do Man U or Chelsea.

They keep on winning though as are we at the moment.
Being a supporter involves taking the rough with the smooth.

It's like with any business I guess.

Supermarkets etc have stats on the fact it costs 4 times as much to get a customer back as it does to retain them

    or summat like that

Would not let me play. I'd got my password and everything, but when I logged in it says '0 teams'.

So I got p*ssed off and left it alone.

I'll see what the finances are like after Christmas.

If I can grab a half season ticket, I probably will.

Despite my current apathy, I still loathe missing games.

    Gaz.

You misunderstood my post. I wasnt taking the moral highground by criticising stay away fans in general but suggesting that we all know a few of the type of fan ive described.

To be fair I started played Saturday football for a season or two and missed a good number of matches myself.

I pay on the gate and so far I have missed two home games this season and i agree that the club are pricing people out of going. Its ok banging on about loyalty and I'm a better supporter than so and so but many people don't have the money to pay £20 or more week in week out.
The club needs to show some loyalty to this community. When we were in administration the club played the old we are part of the community trick... but when it suits them they are a business. If the club wants to stop playing to empty stands each week they need to look at the pricing regime. When I say this i don't just mean people with kids but everyone.
Another point while I'm on a rant after the Bradford game one of my friends who goes to most home games said that he was starting to question whether or not he should still come to the match. The reason why.. The racist muppets who were chanting in the ponty. They make me embarassed to be associated with the football club I have loved and supported for 26 years.
