Highly unlikely

I'm put off by the new rules on losing a season ticket.

I lost mine at the back end of last season, I think it fell off a pile of stuff I was carrying to the car and was never seen again. There were only three games left one of which I was going to miss anyway so I just bought tickets on the day for the other two. However, if something similar were to happen this season, maybe earlier in the year then I'd be stuffed.

I don't like the new rule, I think it is unfair and illegal, nor do I like the way the club is dealing with its supporters. It all leaves a sour taste and for that reason I am 95% sure I won't renew. I will pick and choose which games to attend next year and spend more time with my family.

    Already got mine

I'm confident that we won't be embroiled in another relegation next season .

This from the bloke who predicted Daniel Nardiello would be our top scorer for 2007/08 !! :)S)

    2 from here lost

I'm not renewing for the first time. Still will go to most games and probably more away games. Pricing policy makes it just about not worth it given that I inevitably have to miss 4 or 5 games a season. That, coupled with the three "get in for a tenner" games and (for me significant) lack of student tickets, is the main reason.
I am also dismayed at the hopeless customer relations down at Oakwell. Don ("emails are the worst thing to have ever been invented") Rowing must have been to the Basil Fawlty Charm School and Gordon Shepherd seems to act in a particularly childish way at times.
Good luck to Simon Davey and the lads - hope I'm feeling a bit more optimistic at the beginning of the season!

The lack of concessions for students...

.... is what did us in the end.

Mine didn't have the cash to outlay and could not afford the full prices. I couldn't afford him an adult rate ticket. In the time he was away he took advantage of better offers going on around where he was. I missed his company and didn't bother so much.

Now he's home and working he doesn't bother going any more. It's a shame really. Potential young markets such as this should be encouraged more, not priced out until the loyalty ebbs away.

    you are dead right

Two of mine ST holders since they were nippers and would love to keep on going but just can't afford it (and I can't fork out for them!). Annoying when other clubs have student schemes. Sends the wrong message.
