54 of the current leagues but I have been to a number of clubs grounds who have slipped out of the leagues ,such as Hartlepool, Hereford , Notts County , Southport & Chesterfield for example
I think there’s about 12 I haven’t been to. For nearly 6 years due to work, I went to more away games than home. I’ve put think cos been to Brentford’s old but not new, MK Dons was for a RL match and a fair few of the remaining was due to work, so not sure if they count?
Chester? saw Ian Rush play there in the 70’s Almost got into to bother as one of the locals overheard me saying that “ he wasn’t up to much” Proper talent spotter me like.
59 of the current 92 ... I've taken them off the list if the ground has moved and I've not been or if they've been relegated from the football league. Of those mostly, they are Premier league and Leauge 2 that I've not done. I had QPR tickets and was going to get Stoke to complete the championship set last season, but covid kicked in
33 of the current prem / football League clubs including old grounds. 3 current national League clubs and Bury.
In our last promotion season, I think I got to 65. All with us. It's the League Two grounds, and the new ones - yer West 'Ams, yer Arsenals - which tripped me up.
Not been to Chester, Scarborough, Wrexham, Barnet, Maidstone etc. That was just a list of grounds I'd been on that no longer counted.
50 club's grounds, some are old ground only, some are new ground only and some include both. Some are sadly no longer in the League (Chesterfield, Notts Co).
Can’t remember, a few. Remember going to Chester City away end was a muddy bank. Won 3-2 in league cup I think, Norman’s time. That poor club no longer exists..
Oakwell Stamford Bridge Old Trafford St James Park Elland Road Ewood Park Reebok Stadium Hillsborough Bramall Lane Turf Moor Selhurst Park Maine Road Boleyn ground Ricoh stadium Fratton Park Belle vue Crown ground Home Park Manor ground Blundell Park Boothferry Park Millmoor Off the top of my head but I think I will have missed some off.
52 different footballs grounds (excluding the old and new Wembley and the Millenium Stadium although the new Wembley has been used as a home Ground.). Of these: 6 clubs are no longer members of the EFL or do not exist. AND 16 grounds no longer exist ( excluding the National Hockey Stadium).
Sorry Rephrase.84 current league CLUBS. most of the clubs old and new grounds. Not done Arsenal and Spurs new new. although saw us play spurs at WHL and Wembley. So I suppose 82 present grounds. Total grounds has to be 120+ of present and old league clubs, of which 101 different clubs. Loads of non league n'all with friendlies. I think Kelvin Blandamore would beat everyone hands down. He completed the 92 twice on the same day his brother Ashley completed em once. Many moons ago. Free rail pass helped for both. (BR workers at the time)
17, which is actually a lot more than I'd have guessed. Definite Midlands bias. Oakwell Molineux Villa Park The Hawthorns Vicarage Road St Mary's Loftus Road The Britannia City Ground Pride Park St Andrews Fratton Park MK Dons Crewe Sixfields Vale Park Bescot
Great site. I’ve got the paper map as well, all colour highlighted to show old and new grounds - but I’m sure everyone has done that . 73 of the current grounds, 112 including old grounds and 121 including teams that have dropped out of the league. In this Division I haven’t yet been to the new grounds for Stoke, Swansea and Brentford and that’s pi$$ed me right off because I won’t get to them next year. However, compensation will come in the form of my first visits to the new grounds at Tottenham, Leicester and Southampton.
I’ve been to three for events other than football: Bellend Rd to see U2, Stadium of Sh|te to see Springsteen and Swillsborough to see Sheffield Wednesday.
54 current ones, counting Grimsby as current as they are still competing in League 2, albeit already mathematically relegated. Having been to the Ricoh, where cov will be playing next season I've counted that as otherwise there's only 91 grounds, with two clubs playing at St Andrews
