    RE: Me

The ones that stick in my mind are Big Trevs last game.. Trevor trevor stay with us.. and the game against Boro when we thought Ipswich had lost and we were in the play offs. I remember Taggart necking the champers before anyone could tell him otherwise.

ran on to pitch when we beat middlesborough - many years ago - when the announcer got the score wrong and we weren't in the play-offs!

    RE: Middlesboro (early nineties)

That one brings back memories. Scenes of jubilation after a 1-0 success and an announcement of Brighton's defeat came over the tannoy. The announcer was giving out play off dates before news of an injury time Brighton equaliser came thru. Thing I remember most was a guy with a radio to his ear frantically trying to tell everyone the bad news and another chap threatening him with violence for even daring to suggest it !

I remember that. Round the back of the Main Stand club secretary Michael Spinks was approached by a baying mob, all wanting the blood of the PA bloke.
