    Thankyou T-Dog

honestly this is so worth winning IMHO, several years ago or so I went to the Final at the Millenium stadium... Blackpool vs Cambridge. I live nearby and went 'cos our dear old Martin Bullock was playing for Blackpool, and I also have relatives from both Cambridge and Blackpool so I have a bit of a soft spot for both teams... Blackpool won , and it was a fantastic game real blood and thunder stuff and end to end too. Bullock had a stormer of a game ... They paraded the trophy on the lap of honour, the players were totally thrilled to have won...now no one cannot tell me that this is not good for morale and confidence of both player and fans alike. After that Blackpool went on a good run of fortune and ended up in the Premier league.

As you know I actually think he has shown enough to be sacked. But fact is either way I still want us to win and don't subscribe to the scarifying wins to achieve a sacking. Much rather him win games and prove us wrong. Shame after a good win though that we have to endure more positioning of LJs role.

Didn't want us to lose and, in many ways, it's a good distraction and potential confidence builder against one of the better teams in the division.

However, it's all meaningless unless we can translate it into league form. Someone mentioned that Hourihane's booking means he's suspended for Colchester, which is a big blow for us if so.

Ultimately, it's a meaningless trophy. A trip to Wembley means little if we end up getting relegated alongside it. As long as our priorities are right then it remains a pleasant distraction for now.

And I'll never want us to lose a fixture once they've stepped over the line. If I ever felt that way I'd know it was time to give up.

I wanted us to win but I still want Johnno to get sacked as he is a useless **** who will take us to the fourth tier.

I think League one Yellow Card cut off was 30th Nov (31st Dec Premiership) so I reckon he is ok for Colchester

Maybe we will, I hope we do pick up but we're a long way from me being convinced that we'll ever make real progress under Johnson.

    None of us are.

But every result must be given its merits.

Today was a good result day.

I agree, a trip to Wembley might just tempt me out of fan retirement.
