A written comment on hordes of players, 100 words a player minimum?

That doesn't seem to be too much to ask at all. You are such a reasonable person it's the least I can do. Any particular colour, font you require? Is English OK or would you like it translating into a few other languages too?

I'd best slink off and get started then, hadn't I? (doh)

Do you honestly think that any club gets all it's first choice transfer targets?

No, but when it get's to the stage where contracts are offered

then you are pretty well down the line by then. When they are more often than not rejected,is that the norm?

    Hypocrite, maybe, more informed, yes

I admitted I was wrong in written word on here. I had a go about us not signing players, but all the time it was because the manager didnt want to. fact. and that.

Easy one this...... how much we spend is how much he sells for

If he sells for £550k then we need to buy a player for at least £550k
So there aint no point selling is there
Especially when you look at the league table

In D/T style, give me explanations in 100 words minimum on

each of the players offered to Ritchie, with accompaying sources, with reasons why they would have improved the squad.

pretty much yes. Decent players will hold out for more money/longer contract/guaranteed first team place/release clause triggered by relegation and/or another club offering £x/signing on fee up front/relocation package/goal bonus etc etc.

You can't just say players don't come coz we won't pay what they want.

There seems to be a common denominator in most of the

reasons you have just given don't you think? £££'s. Thanks for being on my side.

I don't know whether you've ever been involved in this sort of thing but it's not always about money.

    I'll give you 2 examples

Matt Derbyshire and Colin Kazim Richards. Both were ready to join us on loan/permanent. Both Andy decided against. Both currently playing Premiership football. Months and months and months ago. You're moaning about players not signing for us in the transfer window without realising, knowing or wanting to admit how it works. When we had time on our side, Andy decided not to sign players. When we're desperate and the power is with the player/agent, we're struggling. Davey is paying for Andys bad decision. FACT.

Still waiting. Stop beating about the bush.
Shall we start with Kazim Richards?

I think Ritchie has paid a rather higher price for not signing anyone.

I am sure he regrets not signing anyone as its cost him his job.

Maybe he didnt think they could do a job for us.

All signings are a gamble and I guess he didnt want to take any for whatever reason.

Surely Davey has in fact benefited from the Ritchie decisions as he is now manager.
