I regularly see pheasants down the field.
So, if you want to know anything about pheasants, I'm your man.

RE: Is Freestle an official stroke though I've actually seen it done in my days as ASA Official. James Hickmay (one time Olympian) once swam Butterfly, his specialist stroke, in a Freestyle race as part of his Commonwealth Games warm up trainng. He did it as there was no one to push him at Butterfly. He won by a country mile! This post was brought to you by The Really Useless Company.
So, you were only watching the race. Doesn't count I'm afraid, evidently you need to have been in the water to comment.
Ha said he was an ASA official. Which, you have to admit, is a bit further along the scale of expertise than going to watch your kids swim.

RE: I usually timekeep at all the local meets, do you still do it? nt FINA - SWIMMING WORLD BODY ON FREESTYLE POSTED YESTERDAY SW 5 FREESTYLE SW 5.1 Freestyle means that in an event so designated the swimmer may swim any style, except that in individual medley or medley relay events, freestyle means any style other than backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly. SW 5.2 Some part of the swimmer must touch the wall upon completion of each length and at the finish. SW 5.3 Some part of the swimmer must break the surface of the water throughout the race, except it shall be permissible for the swimmer to be completely submerged during the turn and for a distance of not more than 15 metres after the start and each turn. By that point, the head must have broken the surface.
My view as a former competitive swimmer All swimming strokes are very different but at the same time do require the same basic physical abilities Therefore for somebody such as Michael Phelps who is clearly naturally talented in the water, its easier to turn his hand to any stroke but he still needs to put a lot of specific training in If you are a natural in the water then you can pick up any stroke much more easily. take MP out of the water and he is lost
Thats ok I'll let you off Please avoid making those mistakes again or your views will cease to be valid
Bolt, Powell and all top Jamaican athletes have been regularly tested for many years To imply they are systematically drug testing, is a big claim even for you Uaian bolt will have been tested at least monthly for most of his life
Tbh I would go for Bolt if I was 100% sure he's clean. Just that given that most sprinters over the last 30 years have been proved or admitted taking stuff then when everyone else's times are slowing then someone comes up with those performances...!
As I've said before, he chooses to train in Jamaica, with no out of season drugs testing, rather than take up lucrative offers from the US universities.
