    Thats my point. If you are good at one swimming discipline its likely you will be good at others

    The same as a 100m sprinter is likely to be a half decent 200m sprinter, an 800m runner a decent 1500m runner, a right winger a not too bad centre forward. Look how most naturally gifted sportsman pick up golf so easily

    Disagree with that. some swimmers are, but i was always a good freestyler but when it came to butterfly and swimming in galas, looked like a drowing rat.

    Of that list 4 have been proven to be drugs cheat so 16 are clean

    I am not saying it doesnt happen, just that I would like to believe its not everybody

    Big, big assumption IMO.

    Flo-Jo never a proven drugs cheat, Costas Kenteris, Katerina Thanou, all the East German women. You saying they must have been clean?

    all failed drugs tests. Are they all in the list? Plus Maurice Greenes coach has stated that he wasn't clean.

    I'd question if 'naturally gifted' sportsmen do pick up golf easily. I'd simply suggest they have more time than most to practise it.


    Golf is many things, but 'natural' it ain't.
