    I'm talking about horrible from within, not what people look like. I can assure you that the lap dancer is not really horrible from within, but she tries to be when she has had about 17 gin and tonics. But then don't we all?

    I'm sure she's ace really. Unfair to include her - only met her the once etc etc

    In fact I'm sure Miss hospitality isn't horrible really either. She just doesn't like saying hello to people, or getting them things, or smiling.... but apart from that she's a top lass.

    Here's me defending the Germans, most of whom are just normal people who didn't start a world war, and we finish up discussing lap-dancers, barmaids and horrible people in Dodworth, oh, and buggery.

    Anyway, I'm with you. Not a problem with Germans (only ever met a few if I'm honest).

    Problem with poxy German football teams who always seem to pull it out of the bag in a "Wednesday always beat Barnsley at Hillsboro" kind of way.

    There's the blokes in the Dil Raj

    I think they come from various places including Sheffield, Bangledesh and Dodworth. They are all fairly nice people though, apart from the one with the credit card machine. Not keen on him at all.

    I NEVER want the Germans to win a football match, just like I NEVER want the dee dars to win. But that is football banter which we all know and love. We give it and take it.

    But I cannot understand why some people think that all Germans go around wantonly starting world wars, gassing people and invading Poland. I have met several hundreds of Germans, only one of them was horrible, and even he didn't start a world war.

    I've been visiting Germany for about 12 years, and have lived there from time to time. All that time they have never once invaded Poland. In fact it is the other way round - but that's quite a different discussion.
