That`ll bring crowds back getting rid of one of our better players.

Tonight's game has proven that it isn't Howard who just wins the game for us. Well done the reds!!

I totally agree that he's one of our very best players... perhaps only Foster is on a par.

Howard couldn't play tonight though, and i for one am delighted that the team managed to cope without him, partly due to a massive performance from Leon. For me that means Howard has some competition for a place at the weekend, because although Howard has more quality, Leon arguably has more form currently.

Do you think that competition is a bad thing, or that Howard is so good that no Barnsley player should ever be allowed to compete?

Too many people are jumping to conclusions after just one game.

Howards goals have been keeping us in the Championship when our strike force has been AWOL for half a season.

Lets see how Diego plays at Preston. I think he is a classy little player and I really want him to become an Oakwell legend.

Whats the parking like at Preston?

    Spartacus are we off?

no, i'm basing it on Howards style of play. Common sense says that every game isn't going to suit his style of play which is why I said in certain games we are better off without him but in the vast majority we are far better with him.

    Never mentioned tonight's game...

Didn't mean to suggest Leon should get a regular place on the back of one performance, just that it gives Howard competition for this weekend. Hopefully they can push each other to even better form (chinny)

He will be away in the summer hopefully for plenty of cash, Leon and Anderson should be given a go in the centre JCR on the right and spend some money on a good left sided player to replace Devaney who has had enough chances and IMHO hasnt taken them ps he didnt play tonight either!

    No way.

Foster aside, he's our best player.

Any team that would want to lose their top goalscorer, playmaker, main goal threat etc must be crazy.
