I'd much rather Devaney go

He's a waste of space for me. as for Howard I can see someone putting in a last minute bid. big fish, small pond, leading scorer, skint club, all adds up to him leaving. I really hope not. he could bag 15 goals this season, imagine his price then!

    "skint club"....

....seemingly not that skint looking at the amount of money being splashed around.

Thats what i never understand about BFC

Couldn't afford to give Nardiello an offer he couldn't refuse, yet a few weeks later 400k splashed out on Mostto.

We offered Nardiello what he was worth

And more money than he'd been on the season before.

Can't blame BFC for him wanting to warm QPRs bench.

RE: Thats what i never understand about BFC

don't think thats what happened to be fair....

it sounds like if we matched what QPR were offering, then our wage structure would be broken somewhat, which could upset the structure of other players wages....

as it was all reported at the time, nads was all set to sign, and then QPR came in with what was described as a "couldn't turn down offer".

That to me says that rather than getting (estimated figures for example purposes) 3k a week with us, he was offered 5.5k maybe 6k at QPR and thats something that BFC probably weren't able to risk with upsetting the wage structure across the whole team

Maybe its all ******, but thats how I saw it all, but it would certainly explain it all

Nardiello wasn't worth a big pay rise

as QPR will and are finding out.

    Howard Going Nowhere

Why after three games would a club pay big money for him when in the summer they could have got him for nothing? He's our second highest earner, vice captain (maybe soon to be full captain), player of the year and top scorer in the league. He loves the fans and loves the area. These Howie rumours come up too often and always turn out to be BS.

    RE: Howard Going Nowhere

Tend to agree, Howard will still be hear when Nelson gets his eye back. Wonderful speculation this board is, they will be saying next that Davey is going to take over Sir Alex job at Man United.
