Are my assumptions any less valid than your own?

    Amazing

Howard has clearly been our best player for the last three years. His biggest asset is his desire to get forward and to score goals. Don't think we have anyone else in the team who is better at that (including any of the forwards!).

Whilst I'm on - the way in which he is being treated by the club now is a disgrace. From the vile headliner in the Barnsley Football Weekly to the purile mudslinging of the latest statement. Club captain and best player treated like ****. How many more ambitious players fancy their chances at Barnsley?

Some of us would say Howard is treating the fans like ****.

It's Howard who has wanted away.

I can imagine what would have happened if his manager had been a certain A.Ferguson.

    The irony..

..of you saying "that's the way football works". When you prove week in and week out that you have very little clue how it works!

    RE: Amazing

If Feguson or anyone with half a brain had been in charge of Brian Howard's contract/transfer then we would not have had public mudslinging of our "biggest asset". Players often want to move on and ways and means are found to do it without having to resort to such cack-handed PR. That's the way football works.

"You obviously think that a player who doesn't want to play for us is bigger than the Club"

Don't tell me what I think. You've no idea what I think. And I certainly don't think that.

"How about supporting the Club for a change instead of slagging them off at every opportunity."

Where have I slagged them off? I thought buying a season ticket was supporting them. You truly are a cretin.

i agree he is clearly someome who believes his own hype way too much,

the media whore thing during the cup run, really threw him off his stride last season.

i thought then and i still think now that hes overrated,

    Where's the public mud slinging?

The Club have made a statement which Howard hasn't contradicted.

Davey hasn't said a word on the issue and has continued to show faith in Howard by playing him when his form has been very poor to say the least.

No, but he isn't really the "prolific goalscorer" some people are making him out to be.

so you don't think 14 goals is prolific for a central midfielder?

you are a hard man to please
