Great player, such a shame he got such a bad injury the year we came down from the prem. Im sure given a long run in the team he would have scoreds 15-20 goals a season easily.
Wish he played for us now.

Sheron cost £1.2 million.... Came from the man himself.

    Hang on

It was the defence that cost us that season not the lack of goals. The problem was we always looked like conceding.

It was a choice of either Hignett or Hristov upfront, I reckon Bassett got that one right.

It just shows how we remember what we want!!

I remember Hignett going missing at Wembley. Don't stop me thinking he was a legend though

    1) Couldn't get a contract at Dunfermline.

    2) Cost approx £200k per goal. That's TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS per goal.

    3) Is he even playing football anymore?

I think that is more due to a buggered knee than a lack of talent.

Remember him playing on with cruciate ligament damage away at Crewe. Nearly scored in fact.

    Good player? - Undoubtedly.

Waste of money? - In hindsight, yes.

    Good player without doubt.

His 1st season with us he struggled to fit in etc - don't think the club helped him that much. But when he played, he looked decent.

Same with Ales Krizan - a complete professional according to his team mates, even when he was injured.

I think certain managers and players were zenophobic.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Good finisher, good movement, but went missing too often and was injured all too easily.

I liked him, but he was a waste of money considering what we actually got out of him.
