You really are a thick tw@t, it's called freedom of speech.... you're worse than the BNP numbnuts, can't you grasp that the more you and people like you rattle on about it the worse it gets, you're a pathetic excuse for a man hiding behind a petiton, the BNP love losers like you, getting them more and more attention, now **** off.
**** me. "You're worse then the BNP"? Seriously Rufus and you claim SM is making himself look like a putz?
Do not tell me what i should nor should not sign. Instead of running around panicing about the BNP getting a couple of seats, why not petition the current powers that be to address the issues that have got the BNP its votes.
RE: You really are a thick tw@t, it's called freedom of speech.... has someone run over your dog? too many brandies last night I suspect, turn your computer off til you've sobered up.
Like being uneducated and ignorant? maybe we should implement a law that anyone with a low IQ has to be accompanied to the ballot booth.
The point being sunshine, it's called DEMOCRACY........ S.M. is saying that because people don't see it his way they don't deserve a voice, the BNP have had a moment in the spotlight and thats it, the right minded of the electorate will always keep them from becoming a genuine threat, S.M. is'nt bright enough to grasp that, are you?
RE: Like being uneducated and ignorant? You can't always make the link between lack of education, ignorance and right wing politics You can be affluent and educated and be right wing or just be filthy stinking rich and be a Nazi. Like Prince Philip.
No I get it. However, I will not have anyone saying i should put my name on a petition I do not belive in. Especially when we claim to live in a democratic society where everyone is allowed a freedom of vote and speech without persecution, intimidation and threat of violence. UNtill people start taking the BNP seriously rather than trying to ban them or remove them from political circles then their influence will grow as they will feed on this hysteria.
No, I'm clearly not as bright as you "Putz, pillock, thick tw@t, worse then the BNP" all the arguments of an intellect I presume?
Id made an assumption on the demographic of the Barnsley BNP vote not including so many of the upper class fox hunting set. But you're right, money does not buy you intelligence.
Just angry that dopes like you and S.M try to ram your beliefs down our throats...... all the names apply rather aptly.
No ones telling anyone what they have to sign! If you want to sign it then sign it, if you don't then don't. End of.</p>
RE: You've missed the point ******** Sorry but they are representing us by virtue of being democratically elected so I cant see what point you are trying to make other than they have no right to be elected just because you don’t agree with them. The only way to tackle the BNP is for voters to get off their arse and vote for another party and for the main political parties to stop hiding behind PC policies and address the issues that the BNP are capitalising on.
I actually find it astonishing that anyone can seriously look at the BNP and the history and clear evidence behind their members and front runners, (Stood in Nazi uniforms, Forming groups in honour of Hitler on his birthday, addressing the KKK about gaining less intelligent supporters, shouting death to Jews in town centres) and be offended by anyone trying to highlight or oppose it? It beggars belief, its less then 65 years ago that 100s and 1000s of people across Europe died to stop scum like this and give us our freedom.
At last! I agree they are an unpleasant part of our society..... but they have achieved a portion of the vote legally and democratically, deal with it, a fecking petition aint going to do nothing, it's futility is so staggeringly obvious, the only way the BNP will be pushed back is for the mainstream parties to start and listen to the people.
If you took time out to read the petition, it says: They aren't voting to ban them or remove them from political circles. They're showing that they don't represent Britain. Or rather They don't represent... the list of people who add their name to the petition. Nobody is saying you should put your name on it - As you say, "We live in a democratic society". If you don't agree with it, don't add your name.
If nothing else, it'll raise a bit more awareness on sites like this. BNP are living off media hype and peoples fears with regards to immigration much of the stories and reports exaggerated or completely fabricated, I would pretty much guarantee that not a single BNP voter will have even read a mainstream party's policy on immigration control, Europe or anything else. They will have read The Sun, The Mail or The Express and jumped to ludicrous conclusions based on extreme and often untrue examples. With the freedom our grandfathers fought for comes a responsibility, I'm embarrassed that The BNP will be turning up in Europe to represent Yorkshire and even more embarrassed that the vote count for them was much higher in a Town that I am connected to and it's because I'm proud to be a Yorkshireman and proud to support Barnsley that I'm embarrassed. If I didn't give a ****, I wouldn't be. I don't see why that's so hard to grasp or why you find it so outrageous that someone has posted a petition about it. I agree it's unlikely to have any impact on the democratic process. I also voted in a petition to ask Brown to stand down, it ain't going to happen, but it felt good doing it.
That is the whole point. DEMOCRACY is under threat from people like this. Hitler used the ballot box to get into power and then suppressed all opposition. The Nazi party in Germany also went very quickly from being a fringe party to a major one, taking advantage of political unrest because of the great depression of the early 1930's. Notice any parallels? Nazi Party Election Results ...Date................Votes........Percentage....Seats in Reichstag May 1924.........1,918,300......6.5................32 Dec 1924............907,300......3.0................14 May 1928............810,100......2.6................12 Sep 1930.........6,409,600......18.3..............107 After the financial crisis July 1932........13,745,800.....37.4..............230 Nov 1932........11,737,000.....33.1..............196 Mar 1933........17,277,000.....43.9..............288 No-one would be alarmed if it was someone like the Greens making in-roads.
