Why should they? As much as people have the right to vote BNP, SM has the right to ask people to sign a petition.
Because life is too short? its a link to a petition personally I think its a pointless one but if people want to sign it up to them why should we bin it?
RE: Why should they? Forgive me but, without rummaging through the basement, I was under the impression that BNP related stuff that seems to be "unproductive" for want of a better word, was being consigned to the bin, at the rate of one per day.
I reckon this falls into that category and would like to nominate it for room 101, or wherever.
Sticky my arse!

Its a waste of time and completely anti-democratic but that’s ok because we don’t like the BNP therefore the key and primary FACT that they were DEMOCRATICALLY elected seems to be irrelevant to some. Fecking pathetic.
How is in ANTI-DEMOCRATIC to sign a petition... that is in reality an opportunity for people to sumply say "they may have been "elected" but do not represent me". That surely is as democtratic as you can get? Exercising your right to free speech?
The BNP candidates were democratically elected and whether I like it or notrepresent the constituency for which they were elected. I did not vote for them and they do not represent my personal views or beliefs. I therefore reserve my democratic right to express my opinion through any means I may choose provided it does not contravene the law.
If I choose to sign a petition that again is my right in a democratic society.
What I have found with dismay is thatthe threads relating to this electionquicklydegenerate into name calling and insults.

Should be easy enough to ban the party Given that it is their constitution that non-whites cannot join, that alone should be enough to outlaw them as a political party. Previously they've said that everyone is able to join, just that they choose not to.
RE: How is in ANTI-DEMOCRATIC to sign a petition... My point is that the only response to the election of the BNP is to vote them out at the next opportunity and to do this we need two things: 1: Voter apathy to be addressed and those who didnt vote to get of their arse and vote 2: The mainstream political parties to stop hiding from the issues of immigration and tackle them
Fecking Sad People Jesus wept. I hate to say it about my country but i hope in 30 years all you people who are caling people thick/bigots/nazis etc for voting BNP stop and think they where right. Because im afraid its the only way this country is heading
I just wondered at the age group to which the BNP appeal whether they appealed to younger voters or not.

RE: This is not a wind up or a trying to have a go as you're semi-literate you just fuel all the negative stereotypes about BNP supporters
