The reducing £4 million each season? Be down to £2 mill possibly £1 mill then breaking even? Yeah l will looking at those off the field accounts...
Pre-break even our wage bill was £8m. So if you want a £12m wage bill someone is going to have to stump up at least £4m per season. Not that it'll guarantee you anything. Bristol City's was £18m and they went down
You're missing a very key point though aren't you? They're not going down and they're increasing revenue off the field every season. DeanHoyle is ten times better the business man Cryne is. Final answer is yes I'd stump up the missing £4 mill now knowing full well I'll get much more back in a few year. Money on them being in the prem by 2020.
But that's a £4m loss last season. To go with the £5.6m loss the season before. And the losses in the seasons before that. And last year's losses were hugely offset by the sale of Rhodes which they won't have this year. Agree about their commercial ability though.
And Barnsley have not got Stones or Butterfield or Vaz Te to sell this season !!! Going to be an eye opener this seasons accounts I reckon.
