3000 is poor as they are chasing the top 2 and it's 20mins down road but at 30 quid a pop for them it's only 30 quid short of what they pay for a young adult season ticket
I was responding to Fiona who tagged me. Media wise (my job) we have smashed it. Sales re discounted tickets are going very well. Cheers.
Honestly Whitey I haven't seen it anywhere, and I'm online every day with work, or after work, or both. Just checked all my facebook feeds - nothing. Loads of stuff from Villa and Brighton games, some stuff from reserves games, then jumps to Sam Morsey head injury. Twitter, I've found one reference to it from yesterday. I'm not saying you haven't done it, I think you guys are doing a great job, I just haven't seen it at all this week. I think the FB thing may be a glitch with FB as I often get feeds from the previous week randomly appear. Anyway, just wanted you to know I wan't having a pop, I genuinely haven't seen it on social media. BTW sales do look good - East stand virtually sold out, and blocks of Ponty all gone. COYR!
Give what a rest? I pointed out quite rightly that the media team have pushed this offer online. That is a praise for you. The offline advertising of the offer has been poor and the failure to advertise on the empty poster boards is a poor failure as is the failure to advertise the availability of those poster boards to hire. That isn't unjust criticism, it is very valid criticism. If they maximise their revenues it is more money to the club and therefore more for your department.
Can't argue with that. They aren't **** as people, I believe their performance in certain areas falls short of the standard but that is a department and even club issue, not a personal issue
I've got to agree. The club thinks they reach everyone online. The best offline advertising is actually done by Barnsley Council, with their road matrix signs warning of traffic at Oakwell at 3pm or 7.45pm.

All the above is on facebook too. No point repeating it. We've hammered it, as we should. And from what I'm told we've sold 2000+ discounted tickets alone for this match. Cheers. #YouReds
Of course it's a good enough excuse, two away games and one being Man City away. We all said the two Wembley visits that were over a month apart was a good enough excuse for the ***** support we took to them.
Fair play to the council, using tax payers money to warn motorists 100 yards from Oakwell that there's a match on. Not sure that relates to us advertising tickets online, to 100,000 Facebook followers, 73,000 twitter followers, or every season ticket holder via email. It's 2017. If you don't know there's a ticket offer on at Oakwell this weekend you're not that interested in BFC. As it is, we've had a good reception to the discounted offer so far. Not sure a neon sign for 7 hours on a Saturday would make much impact. Nor posters in the toilet. Folk know what they're doing, as everything suggests. Can we improve? Aye. Can supporters? Aye.
Just bought 3 on line for a mate. Wanted specific seats so had to use my laptop as iPad and phone browser doesn't work very well. Depending on which route I took on the phone, it was offering £30 seats too. Very annoying. Not many green dots left now if you are thinking of buying. Going to be a big crowd, for us anyway. Well done to the club for the discounted price!
The matrix I regularly see is the one at Stairfoot, one of the busiest intersections in Barnsley. Three friends of mine didn't know about the £10 offer until I told them about it the other day. I'm often the first to tell my Dad stuff as well. A lot of people of his generation (70+) don't do much on the internet.
The matrix signs alert motorists that there's going to be a match several days in advance. I'm hoping your smarmy reply was because you thought I meant just before kick off.
They wouldn't have filled the away end regardless which is poor considering its their best season in over 20 years. And man city's ground is about 45 mins down 62 for Huddersfield not four hours still should be filling our away end but never have.
There's a thousand ways the club could improve but there's no point going over that again as it's like talking to the wall. What can supporters do to improve?
