Thanks, could see that coming, so many chances and much the better side for 70 mins but you know when you cant put it in the net what will happen. Incredible really when we never had less than six first choice players out all year and often more we even got that far. Today no Adebayo (till the 89thmin) Jerome (till 80th) Lansbury, Osho, Mpanzu, Berry, Shea etc. Huddersfield are no great shakes just very well organised to can turn the ball over and hit on the counter and put in some very decent crosses. Hope we don't follow your path bless you
Sounds unprecedented on the injury front! Makes it all the more impressive what you've achieved. Hopefully we'll see you again in 15 months (in the Champ of course)
You’ll always get a few idiots in any crowd. I’ve never understood when in a moment that should be about pure joy for your team, you’d decide to turn it into anger and start goading the opposition. Just celebrate your win and have a bit of respect for the losers it’s not hard.
agreed. the stewards / police should be brought under serious question here though, IMO. any one of those idiots could have attacked Jordan Clark. literally no one did anything.
Yeah scrapping before and after the game outside the stadium our lot smashed a pub up in town center. Also think it was 2018 when Huddersfield got promoted there fans ramsacked the drinks kiosk in the away end helping themselves to beer. It was a freindly fixture in 2013 when we all stayed up and chanted yorkshire but not in recent years.
Not sure what other people's opinion is of the standard of the championship this season but me and others sat around us discussed the best team we had seen a early vote went to Coventry and in our opinion didn't get changed all season. That was one of the most disappointing things of a very poor season is that we didn't have to be anything special to stay up. I think the standard in the play off backs this up four sides that were slightly better than the rest and no stand out team you can see winning it
It was not nice when the game ended. The Huddersfield fans assaulted our players, ran to our end and pelted us with batteries, coins and whatever they had. The police just stood with their backs to them and left us trapped getting pelted. This old boy is 85 for goodness sake. Good job we lost really Luton fan injured by coin thrown at play-off final match - BBC News
Disgusting, horrible fans. I hope they get hammered in the final, I really do. Be nothing better than seeing some of their fans crying at Wembley.
Surely it depends if the Blunts get through against Forest. The tear streaked face of a young blunt is a thing of joy.
