Think they're owned by some Kuwaiti's - bottomless pit in theory.

At least we don’t need to be worried about our manager being linked

There are problems at Forest - I don’t think a new manager will change too much, but who knows.

I think the club’s driven far too much by the chairman - bringing in signings from his other clubs who may not be wanted/up to it.

I can see Murphy and Taymour being quite disillusioned about it all. Part of me would love it if they got relegated too this season, just for those two alone leaving. I’ve nothing against them, but the grass ain’t always greener….

He put a message on his social media distancing himself from any rumours yesterday. Mind you I wouldn’t trust that mother fudger as far as I could throw him.

TalkSport reporting that it isn't a done deal but they're hopeful of announcing him before the weekend. Was a live update as I typed that message.

Obviously could fall through but I think it's unlikely.

Maybe our new manager will have hit his stride by then though.

I'm sure you have done. I've heard he's popping round to see you with some of the 'lads'. :)

Sorry for Hughton. A genuinely nice bloke who was on a hiding to nothing at Forest. He’s had some raw deals in football particularly being treated appallingly by Ashley at Newcastle. I’ve met him a couple of times, he’s a top bloke and he won’t be out of work for long.

Hughton had his budget slashed compared to previous bosses, had to drastically lower the the average age of the squad and lower the wage bill by getting shut of some big earners. All this with the target of what past bosses couldn't do of reaching the play offs. He was on a hiding to nothing.

Why would Cooper want to go there? One of the reasons he left Swansea was because of his budget being slashed, so it wouldn't make sense. He would have had a better chance of a promotion staying where he was.

Agree. However, money talks and sometimes managers can’t afford to be out of the game too long, otherwise you become the forgotten man.

In some respects, he can’t lose. No one will expect him to do well, and if he does, it’s a bonus and good job.
