I hope you're not advising him on his fitness regime, the way you go through junk food and sugar drinks. He's better off with his coffee.
Bit of a myth how long it takes to build up fitness. It'll not take him long especially as he knew of the trial a few weeks before he came & was getting himself fit. Hourihane's just had a few weeks injured where he couldn't train & was straight back in the team looking sharp. Doesn't take that long for professional athletes to build up fitness
Have you never watched Barnsley FC ? Our players should be the fittest players in the Universe, as EVERY manager since Ritchie has said that the lads would be fitter this season than last, yet they are knackered after 70 mins! They must have been a fit as a wooden clog when they got promoted last time !!
