We can't really read anything into what might happen though can we. There's a good chance that Hull will be up by the time they play us, which may mean that they put in a performance like we did at Oxford or it may mean that the pressure is off and they play us off the park. Might it be better if Watford win the next two games so that only a win is enough for Hull to guarantee promotion. If the pressure is on them it may allow us to profit. Who knows?

Either way, our players are fighting for their jobs and their status as Championship players. They've shown enough fight already since Flicker took over to give me the belief that they will give it their all, so I am pretty positive that we won't be disappointed with their effort over the next few matches. My only concern is that they appear to have run themselves into the ground and we are down to our bare bones. But every time I have thought that we have reached the end recently we have bounced back with another great performance. On the face of it I wouldn't expect us to win any of the last three games, but I wouldn't be so daft as to write us off just yet, even if we do lose tomorrow.
