    P T I wonder if your solution might be to just let the rest of the prisoners let loose on the perverts. I know it would be mine. They are of no use to society. But they will always be treated humanely as possible and protected to some degree. Pity their victims never got the same protection.

    Scary that. I did jury service a bit back & it seemed like about half the cases were suspected peadophiles, maybe our lot were just unlucky & that was a bad fortnight but it was certainly worrying

    I think it is such an emotive subject that it is extremely difficult to have proper discussions about the best course of action to stop these crimes taking place. And what to do when these criminals are released. If it is a mental illness what then is the right course of treatment. All I can hope is that there is much more awareness in this country now, children are being listened to .
